Rules and Regulations:
i) The presenter should be an author of the research. The presenter should be an UNDERGRADUATE student.
ii) The topic for presentation should be within the scope of Health Sciences.
iii) Registration fees- Rs. 250/-
Last date of registration- 18th July 2015 (subject to change)
iv) The participants should submit an abstract of their research by mail on the e-mail id: confluence.reg@gmail.com
v) The abstract shall be in following format with maximum of 1000 words. a) Title Author and co-author c) Rationale for study d) Objectives e) Design, Settings and Methods f) Results g) Conclusion
vi) The participant should also submit a scanned copy of original Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) or Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) approval along with the abstract. The abstract will NOT be considered without it.
vii) Out of the submitted abstracts top 21 will be shortlisted by a panel of 3 judges.
viii) These selected participants will be allowed to present their paper during the event.
ix) Presentation shall be strictly in MS-OFFICE power-point presentation and should be in landscape form.
x) Presentation time of maximum 8 minutes shall be allotted which will be followed by a 2 minutes question and answer session by the judges.
xi) In case of two authors: The participants should duly note that only one presenter is allowed. The presenter should register as the author of the research while other participant should register as co-author separately. Both author and co-author can answer the questions put forth by the judges. It is not compulsory for the co-author to be present.
xii) Participants will be judged on following criteria : a) Oration skill Quality of the presentation c) Appropriate use of statistics d) Originality of research e) Content of research f) Ethical considerations g) Responses to questions asked
xiii) All participants irrespective of whether they have been selected for presentation (provided they have been successfully registered) will be awarded a certificate of participation.
xiv) The final list of 21 selected participants will be displayed on 24th July, 2015 (Subject to change) along with the slots allocated. xv) Duly note that abstracts will be scored by the panel and 21 abstracts will be selected. In case of a tie, an abstract submitted earlier by mail with EC certificate will be given preference. Hence it is advised that you submit your abstracts as soon as possible after successful registration.
